isabelle the hun

I have no idea who Isabelle the hun is. but that is my title and I'm sticking to it.
Come to think of it. What's a hun? And why are so many words double sided? Seriously. It must get confusing for foreigners trying to learn our language.
Speaking of foreigners.
My brother and his wife have just adopted a baby from Guatemala. Today, I held him in my arms for the first time. He looked up at me and smiled and then became immediately attached. I couldn't put him down for the rest of the day because if I did, he would cry like someone was murdering him. He is 11 months old and the cutest thing ever.
